Sorry this post is going up so late today, but we are busy packing for our mini-vacation that starts tomorrow. Maybe I should say we are busy over-packing.
Does anyone else have this problem? It seems like the shorter the trip, the more luggage is needed. And the food! Does anyone else out there pack a complete pantry for a three-hour drive like we do?
I've considered experimenting with packing as little as possible just to see what would really happen if we didn't take five varieties of sunscreen or an assortment of allergy medications (foreign pollen is the worst), but I think we'll wait until the little guy is at least old enough to drive to get his own emergency pizza-flavored goldfish crackers. Until then, I've gotta go finish packing...

So funny! I love the photo! It looks like what we just pulled out of our car. Have a fun trip!
I hear you! I'm so glad we don't have to lug formula everywhere we go anymore. Have a great trip! Say hi to the fort for me!
I wish we could come with you guys just so we could go back to that great beach! I think it's a state park, so you pay a few dollars to drive your vehicle in. Totally worth it!
Have fun!
I wish you guys could come, too! I hope the weather is beach-worthy--it sounds like it may be a little cool there.
The formula days were hard, Liz. I will never forget the day we ran out! It wasn't pretty.
Have a great week!
Oh you need me to pack for you. I can survive on next to nothing. :) Really I HATE overpacking, it just drives me crazy. I flew by myself to Oklahoma last fall with the 3 girls by myself, and I had one small backpack as a carry on and 2 small suitcases. That's it. :) We were there for a week, in the winter.
I hope you guys have a blast!
